Complaint of Ulvi Hasanli rejected

Baku / 13.11.17 / Turan: Today, the Baku Court of Appeal, under the chairmanship of Judge Elshad Shamaev, considered a complaint by the activist of the NIDA movement Ulvi Hasanli on the forced draft, inhuman and degrading treatment. The complaint was filed against the decision of the Baku military court on November 3 of this year, which did not satisfy the appeal of protection against the recognition of the forced sending of Hasanli to court. It was this court that was to investigate the facts of inhuman, degrading treatment with U. Hasanli.

At today's trial, the lawyer made eight motions. The Court of Appeal did not satisfy any of the petitions, leaving in force the decision of the Baku Military Court of November 3 this year. The lawyer intends to file a complaint with the European Court.

Ulvi Hasanli had a postponement from military service because of health problems. Nevertheless, on October 27 a young activist, member of the Board of the NİDA Movement, was drafted into the army.

The last physical examination of Hasanli was held earlier this year, he was given a respite until 2019. In early October, he was again invited to the military commissariat, during an additional survey on October 25 he was told that his kidneys are perfectly healthy. However, the next day during a repeated medical examination in the hospital, he was detained by the military police and brought to the military commissariat. From there he was sent to the military unit. -05D06--
