Baku / 25.12.17 / Turan: Alovsat Mammadov, an employee of the mechanic-assembly section No. 1 of the repair and construction department of the Azerkimya production association (PA), was killed in an accident in the city of Sumgait.
Another employee, Togrul Azizli, was injured, said SOCAR, which includes Azerkimya PA.
The incident occurred during the repair work in the warehouse located on the territory of the ethylene-polyethylene plant. As a result of the breakdown of a winch, the workers fell from a height, getting serious injuries. Despite the efforts of doctors, they were unable to save Mammadov.
