Baku / 29.12.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani grand master Shahriyar Mammadyarovwon the second place in the rapid discipline at the world championship in rapid chess.
In the final, 15th round of the championship, which takes place in St.Petersburg, Shakhriyar Mammadyarov played a draw with Daniel Dubov from Russia, who won the competition.
Mammadyarovwon the second place, and Nakamura - the third.
Mammadyarov is currently in fifth place in the FIDE international rankings. -06D--
