Amnesty International called for the immediate release of Mehman Huseynov
Baku / 09.01.18 / Turan: Amnesty International human rights organization called on official Baku "immediately and unconditionally" to release blogger Mehman Huseynov.
The statement reads that under a new charge the blogger faces a prison sentence of up to 7 years.
Amnesty International is also concerned about the serious threat to Huseynov"s health because of his hunger strike.
The blogger has been on hunger strike for 15 days in protest against the falsified charges of beating the warden in the jail. -16D-
