Baku will send a note of protest to the State Department in connection with Mayilyan's visit to the USA
Baku / 30.10.19 / Turan: The Azerbaijani Embassy in the United States expressed its protest to the State Department over the entry of the "head of the Foreign Ministry" of the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated in a comment by the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in Turan.
The embassy sent letters to the speaker of the House of Representatives, as well as the head of several committees. A separate protest was expressed to the American co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“The US attitude to false visa information provided by the separatist regime’s representative is surprising.
The US authorities declare the private nature of Mayilyan’s visit that the Administration does not support this visit and that it will not be accepted at the official level. The US position on the non-recognition of the separatist regime remains unchanged.
