Baku/12.11.19/Turan: Gulmira Aslanova, the spouse of the arrested journalist Polad Aslanov, announced a biased investigation in the case of her husband.
On her Facebook page, she writes that people, who are not involved in the case, including the journalist’s former neighbors, are being summoned to the investigation.
“They are told that I and Polad told their names to the investigation. However, there was nothing of the kind,” notes Aslanova. According to her, the investigation forces the people to testify against the journalist.
“I ask that people go to the interrogation only with their lawyers, and tell the truth. At the end of the investigation, I will publish the names of journalists and other persons who gave false testimony against Polad,”writes Aslanova.
She also told about the search in the house of the akhund of the Tovba Mosque in Gazakh under the pretext that Aslanov allegedly mentioned his name during the investigation.
“Akhund was asked about Polad’s activities. However, they only met twice, and one day by telephone, Akhund asked to make public the fact of pressure on him by the district authorities and the fact that he was once put in a psychiatric hospital by the order of the authorities.
* Polad Aslanov, the editor of the site xeberman.com, was detained on June 12, and the next day the court arrested him for 4 months under the Article 274 (treason) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is conducted by the State Security Service.
On October 5, the period of the arrest of the journalist was extended for another 4 months. Local and international organizations condemned the criminal prosecution of Aslanov, believing that the real reason for the arrest of Aslanov is his journalistic activities. -06B-

The Business Continuity test of Azercell's CMG project was conducted in the Alat Free Economic Zone. A real-time Business Continuity test of the CMG – Crisis Management Group of Azercell, which is a leading mobile operator in the country, was conducted in the Alat Free Economic Zone. For implementation of the first tests Azercell was partnering with Azercosmos, Aztelekom, and Baktelecom. During the simulation, a crisis was created by completely cutting off communication in the designated area. Technical teams from the regions arrived at the scene during the crisis drill, initiating efforts to restore communication. Initially, groups installed two mobile Base Stations in the area, providing 2G service to a limited number of subscribers using facilities of the national satellite. In the next stage, high-speed internet, 3G, and 4G networks were restored, and the area was equipped with 100-megabit Wi-Fi service. It's worth noting that in comparison to previous tests, the recovery time was reduced by half in this simulation test. All mentioned recovery operations were carried out by teams from the regions and the groups of experts specially trained by Azercell.
