Complication of Ogtay Gyulalyev’s Health
Baku / 13.11.19 / Turan: The health of the human rights activist Ogtay Gyulalyev in a coma was complicated as a result of infection in his lungs. This was reported by his wife Firuza Gyulalyeva, who is with him in the Istanbul clinic Avrasia.
The origin of the infection and how it got into the lungs is not known.
“Doctors are doing everything they can, but they don’t say what kind of infection it is and do not give any predictions,” said the spouse of the human rights activist.
She also expressed doubt that this clinic has everything necessary for the treatment of a patient who underwent a neurosurgical operation.
Recall that Gyulalyev was hit by a car on October 29 in the center of Baku. Relatives and colleagues regarded the traffic accident that injured the human rights activist as intentional.
He was operated with a considerable delay, which complicated the already serious condition. Three days later, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation took care of Gyulalyev’s treatment, sending him to a clinic in Istanbul. -21B-
