Azerbaijani Airports’ Passenger Traffic Grows

Heydar Aliyev International Airport and Ganja International Airport secured membership in the prestigious Airports Council International (ACI EUROPE), the foremost global organization representing airport operators. This development was confirmed by the press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are taking a significant step forward in their strategic partnership by announcing plans to form a joint investment fund with an initial capital investment of $300 million. The joint venture discussed at the meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, and the General Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH), Ruslan Alikhanov, testifies to the concerted efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.

On Friday, the Azerbaijani parliament gathered for a thorough and demonstrative meeting to study a detailed report submitted by the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber, Vugar Gulmamedov, which describes in detail the activities of the chamber during the 2023 fiscal year. The report, rich in figures and analytical conclusions, shed light on the financial situation in the country, both promising achievements and disturbing inconsistencies.
