Azerbaijani President forms new composition of state commission for cooperation with EU

Baku / 15.02.19 / Turan: President Ilham Aliyev approved the new composition of the state commission on cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev was re-appointed chairman of the commission.

The commission also included ex officio co-chair of the EU-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary cooperation committee, heads of presidential administration departments on foreign policy, legislation and legal expertise, on working with law enforcement agencies, on agrarian issues.

The commission also included deputy ministers of emergency situations, communications, finance, foreign affairs, internal affairs, agriculture, health care, education, energy, taxes, culture, and justice.

In addition, the commission includes deputy heads of a number of state committees, services, as well as the deputy prosecutor general, the head of the Main Directorate of the State Security Service, and others.

In total, the commission included about 40 officials. -06D--
