Baku / 08/12/19 / Turan: On August 12, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov in the Avaza tourist zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.
Arriving in Turkmenistan to participate in the Caspian Economic Forum, Mammadov called for continued constructive cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as energy, transport and logistics projects.
The parties noted the importance of implementing transcontinental transit transport corridors that provide optimal transportation routes for goods, and their integration into the international transport infrastructure - in particular, the creation of the international transit transport corridor Lapis Lazuli.-02D-
