Visit of Delegation of Parliament of China

Baku / 20.09.19 / Turan: On September 19, a delegation of the All-China Assembly of People's Representatives arrived in Baku on an official visit, led by Chairman of the Standing Committee Li Zhang Su.

During a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, mutual interest was noted in strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

In particular, Aliyev noted the opportunities for increasing mutual trade turnover and Chinese investments in Azerbaijan in the field of energy, transport and tourism. He highlighted the transit of Chinese goods to world markets through Azerbaijan.

In response, the Chinese guest noted that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner of China, and this cooperation will continue to develop dynamically.

Then the parties discussed the possibility of increasing trade between the two countries, cooperation in the field of transport, industry, information and communication technologies, agriculture, etc.

On the same day, the Chinese delegation was received at the Milli Majlis. During the meeting, the delegation with the leadership and members of the Azerbaijani parliament discussed the development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries. -02D-
