Four more people diagnosed with coronavirus in Azerbaijan
Baku / 13.03.20 / Turan: In Azerbaijan, another four citizens were diagnosed with coronavirus. They are persons who have returned from Iran and Italy, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on March 13. They are placed in a special treatment hospital.
Status of a citizen of Azerbaijan born in 1938 who was previously hospitalized with coronavirus remains stably heavy.
Thus, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the country reached 19 people; one woman died, three people recovered, and were discharged home. –06D-

The International Observatory for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders has called for the release of Anar Mammadli and other political prisoners in Azerbaijan. The petition, signed by 30 civil society organizations belonging to the Observatory, calls on the Azerbaijani authorities to drop all charges against Anar Mammadli, stop the persecution of independent voices in the country and unconditionally release all political prisoners.
