About 300 Azerbaijani Citizens Returned by Charter Flights from Moscow and Istanbul

Baku / 21.03.20 / Turan: On Saturday, the state airline AZAL made two charter flights to Lankaran International Airport. Forty-eight citizens of Azerbaijan were delivered from Moscow, and 248 from Istanbul. The arrivals were quarantined for medical examination.

Since March 15, according to the AZAL report, more than 9,000 passengers have been delivered to Azerbaijan by air from all over the world.

The company will continue charter flights to return Azerbaijani citizens.

At the same time, AZAL indicates that, taking into account the passage of a medical examination by every returnee and placement in quarantine, the date of return of citizens to the country is determined in accordance with the preparatory work of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

In particular, the schedule of charter flights delivering citizens from abroad is compiled in accordance with the preparation of special treatment hospitals and quarantine places, testing of the newcomers, solving logistics and other issues. –06D-
