Independent Turan Information Agency was founded in Baku in September 1990 by group of journalists.
The Agency disseminates news, analytical reviews and articles from Azerbaijan. Information products are represented by such blocs as politics, economy, energy, finances, communications, market, legislation, religion, culture, sport, photo-material. According to annual polls, Turan agency firmly takes the first place among Azerbaijani Information Agencies.
Such giants of information space as Reuters, France Press, DPA, BBC as well as official governmental structures, diplomatic missions, international organisations, representatives of world companies, domestic missions, international organisations, representatives of world companies, domestic and foreign firms use information of Turan Agency.
Turan agency issues bulletins in three languages: Azerbaijani, English, and Russian. The Agency is offering its information services in alive ON-LINE and periodical delivery type.
