Zangelan and 23 villages in Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil liberated
Baku/20.10.20/Turan: In the fighting over the past day, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces liberated the regional center Zangelan and up to 30 villages in three neighboring regions - Fizuli, Jabrayil and Khojavend regions of Azerbaijan. Head of state Ilham Aliyev announced this in his address to the people on October 20 in the afternoon.
He stated that the war would continue until the entire territory of the country is cleared of the enemy.
“The territorial integrity of the country must be fully ensured. We will not calm down without this,” he stressed.
Ilham Aliyev also read out a list of the liberated settlements: In the Fizuli region - Dord Chinar, Kurdlyar, Yukhary Abdurrahmanli, Gargabazar, Ashagi Veisalli, Yukhary Aybasanli.
In Jabrayil region - Saryavshar, Hasangaydy, Fuganli, Imambagir, Dash Veisalli.
In the Khojavend region (Martuni) - Agjakend, Murgudere, Dashbashy, Guneshli, Veng (the new name is Chinarli).
In Zangelan region, there are Hawaly, Zarnali, Mammadbeyli, Akyari, Sharifan, Muganli.
The message of the head of state caused general rejoicing in the streets of Baku and other cities of the country. -02D-
