Baku / 23.10.20 / Turan: During the battles for the liberation of Gubadli, the National Hero of Azerbaijan, Colonel Shukur Hamidov, was killed. This is stated in messages on social networks. The Ministry of Defense does not comment on this information.
A native of the Gubadli region, Hamidov was awarded the title of Hero in 2016 when he was in command of a battalion. He and his subordinates distinguished themselves in the battles in the south of Azerbaijan during the liberation of the Lalatepe height of the Jabrayil region. -02B-
