Talysh Council’s Governing Bodies Formed
Baku / 03.02.20 / Turan: Governing bodies have been formed in the Public Council of Talysh People of Azerbaijan (PCTPA).
The chief editor of the Tolyshi Sado newspaper Hilal Mammadov, the lawyer Atakhan Abilov and the head of the Azeri-Talysh Public Association Mehdibey Safarov were elected co-chairs of the organization for a period of two years.
In addition to the co-chairs, the 13-member Board also included Jabbar Aliyev, Ali Agayev, Alimardan Shukurov, Huseynaga Heydarov, Kenul Rasulova, Mehdi Bakhshiyev, Mirfayaz Vahabov, Mikail Hajiyev, Ogtay Askerov and Tahir Huseynov.
In addition, a control and audit commission was formed, headed by Leyla Bonchu.
The creation of structures in areas of activity continues, the organization’s press release said.
PCTPA was established on December 7 last year by a group of representatives of the Talysh intelligentsia and civil society of Azerbaijan. — 06D-
