The fight against the pandemic, the attitude to fines for holding commemoration parties, and the cessation of business objects are the topics of today's media.

The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the ongoing fight against the coronavirus pandemic and the measures being taken.

WHO cites Azerbaijan as an example to all countries of the world in the fight against the pandemic. The assembly of modular hospitals has begun, of which 5 have already been commissioned.

Ovqat.com discusses the ban on weddings and mourning ceremonies. Former Prosecutor General Ilyas Ismayilov believes that under the guise of fighting against coronavirus, the authorities seem to want to destroy all national traditions.

For violating the rules they apply the Code of Administrative Offenses. Fines reach 5,000 manat, which is unthinkable. Ismayilov believes that it is unacceptable to apply administrative measures; here we need a persuasion method more.

The website Yenisabah.az discusses the situation with the closure of business facilities with the expert Natig Jafarli. This creates a hopeless situation for many employees of such facilities. They practically can’t exist, and they simply can’t feed their family, because they don’t earn anything for 4 months. In such a situation, they are not up to wearing masks or maintaining social distance. The expert considers the situation very dangerous.

Azertag Agency: Another 10 modular hospitals for those infected with coronavirus will be built in Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with local TV channels.

Currently, infected people are treated in 45 hospitals. If necessary, more than 2 thousand patients will be placed in ordinary hospitals, and 3 thousand in modular ones.
