Ilham Aliyev and his family spent the night in Shusha
Baku/15.01.21/Turan: “I planned to visit Shusha for one day, but when I arrived here, I decided to spend the night here. However, I slept very little. Probably, it is from emotions, because for many years we have dreamed of the day when we will return Shusha”, President Ilham Aliyev said from Shusha in his appeal to the citizens of the country on January 15.
“Yesterday we walked around almost all the sights of the city, or rather what was left of them.
I want to assure that this city will be restored, and will become a real pearl of Azerbaijan, a real center of our culture.
Probably the most beautiful place in Shusha is the Jidir Duzu plain - a place from where the panorama of the whole Karabakh opens without comparing to anything. Being here, you deeply realize how we must value and cherish this wealth and make sure that we never lose it again,” said Ilham Aliyev, not hiding his emotions. -02B-
