Criminal Case Opened on Fact of Suicide of Schoolgirls
Baku/10.03.21/Turan: On March 9, in the Garadagh region, in the Lokbatan village, two high school girls committed suicide by throwing themselves from the roof of a 9-storey building.
On March 10, the country's Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal case under Article 125 of the Criminal Code (driving to suicide).
According to local sources, the victims are Afruz Samadova and Matanat Guliyeva, 11th grade students of school No. 2. The cause of the suicide is unknown.
Education Minister Emin Amrullayev expressed his condolences to the families of the victims on his Facebook page. -05B-
