Moscow irritated by Azerbaijan's humanitarian aid to Ukraine
Baku/15.12.22/ Turan: The transfer of transformers and generators by Azerbaijan to Ukraine "as humanitarian aid" causes bewilderment in Russia, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told TASS on Thursday. “Such a step on the part of Baku is puzzling. As part of a special military operation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are destroying the critical infrastructure of Ukraine used by the Kyiv regime for military needs. Azerbaijani supplies, which are unlikely to fundamentally change the situation, do not amount to humanitarian aid,” a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry quoted TASS.
Thus, Russia does not hesitate to admit that it deliberately and purposefully indiscriminately destroys the energy infrastructure of a neighboring state. Depriving people of heat, and patients to be treated in a hospital in Moscow, is considered their legal right. Measures to allow doctors to treat people and prevent them from dying of hunger or cold are considered unacceptable by the Russian Foreign Ministry. However, for some reason, Moscow believes that they have the right to restore the energy and other infrastructure for the Armenians of Karabakh, citing purely humanitarian considerations.
It should be noted that Russia's attempts to involve in its military adventure against Ukraine or to intimidate it with support for the Armenian separatists are unlikely to give a result. On December 10, Azerbaijan sent 45 power transformers and 50 generators to Ukraine for a total of 1.4 million manats. In total, during the war, Azerbaijan helped Ukraine in the amount of 30 million manats (more than 17.5 million dollars). ---02D---
